How do I protect my wireless connection from others?

My neighbors are able to get on my wireless internet, and I don't want them to be able to get on. I have a Linksys BEFW1154 router. Is there any way I can block them from being able to get on my connection? I have a desktop that is directly connected, and I have a laptop that I want to use through the router.

I'm familiar with computers, but not well enough to know about routers and wireless internet. So the easiest way would be appreciated. Thanks! How do I protect my wireless connection from others?
Well, the best way to secure your network is to add a WEP key to keep out unwanted users.

Here are step-by-step instructions to securing your wireless network: http://www.practicallynetworked.com/supp鈥?/a>How do I protect my wireless connection from others?
you have 2 alternatives:

1. WEP Key (can be hacked, have to change the key often, and use at least 128bit encryption or higher)

2. WPA - Is much more secure

I suggest WPA, of course

[edit] and also use the MAC Adress Filtering, so you will be absolutely safe ! [/edit]
