How can I connect my non-wireless desktop to an extended airport express network?

I have an existing airport express network set up on my laptop. I just bought a desktop AND an additional airport express and I wanted to use it to extend the range to get internet on my desktop through the wireless network (without being connected to the internet directly). Those little USB wireless adapters have limited range (because of the absolutely ridiculous ';antennas'; they use). If the computer will be much more than 10 feet from the router, you'll be much better off buying a wireless card and installing it in the computer.
