A few days ago I grew suspicious of someone 'tapping' my lines. I did some research and some people said anyone with a wireless internet could pick up a phone call. I looked that up, and found no results claiming it's possible.
Is it possible? I'm not asking how, just wanted to know if it is possible to do with average residential tools. Is it possible to use a wireless router, or adapter to tap into wireless signals used by phones?
Have no idea how that would work since cell phones and wireless internet are on different frequencies and different transmission formats! If they mean cordless phones even though they may well use 2.4 gig they also use different transmission formats and they are not ';heard'; by wireless internet devices! The signals can interfere with each other but they can't be received by each other.
Someone doesn't have any clue, it could be me, but I doubt it.
