The internal wireless can be turned off, but do I need to uninstall the drivers, or can I just
simply install the driver for the external wireless n?How can I use a higher speed wireless n adapter instead of the internal wireless g in the laptop?
Goto Device Manager and disable the internal wireless adapter. Install the drivers for the external and start using it.How can I use a higher speed wireless n adapter instead of the internal wireless g in the laptop?
You do not have to disable the internal wireless but just turn it or the wireless switch off. Install a USB or card type wireless N adapter and the software and set up the wireless connection same as with the internal wireless.
You can disable the driver in device manager although there is little point unless it is causing problems. Just go ahead and install the software for your new wireless dongle or PCMCIA card ensuring that the internal card is turned off normally via keyboard function or switch depending on laptop
No need to uninstall the drivers ...Just switch off and plug in you USB wireless adaptor
