How do you make a wireless laptop card work?

i installed a wireless laptop care on my computer but the card won't turn on. os there any way to make it work?How do you make a wireless laptop card work?
First make sure you installed the software/drivers before you inserted the card. Really when problems like this happen it is usually because there is not enough power going through the actual card. In my desktop pc I had to replace my Power Supply because it was not pumping enough power into my hardware. Unfortunately your on a laptop and can't do that. Possibly try asking your manufacture if they could make it more powerful.How do you make a wireless laptop card work?
Install the the driver for it then it will work.
