I am FTP'ing files over my home network and average speed is 1.2 MB / sec. All the equipment is within 5 feet of each other and am on a wireless g network. I do not want to hard wire the atv. Look forward to your advice. Ping to atv is pretty erratic, but averages around 2.2 ms.How can I improve WIFI sync time to apple tv?
Likely, one end or the other only has 11Mbps wireless capability. 11Mbps = 1.3MB/sec, so that's about right. Check both ends and make sure they are really using wireless g.
