When you turn the laptop on, it should auto-detect wireless networks and give a bubble pop-up saying that it found networks. Click the bubble, choose your network, and you should be able to get connected just fine.
Note: Home wireless networks should be secured to prevent undesired visitors. Not only will other people using your network slow it down for you, it could also become a legal issue if they are doing anything illegal, because it will trace back to you. yeh sure it is very easy, as long as you have a slot in the side of the laptop to insert an adapter, the adapter is a little larger than a credit card, you should get a disk with it, put the disk in first and just follow the instructions it will tell you when to insert the card and just leave it in the slot.
You can get a USB wireless thing and connect it to the computer.
