I live in a large apartment block and there is a company who provides wireless internet service for the whole building. I'm wondering if there are any security issues with this. I log on through a web site and therefore don't use a modem, router or any other device which usually have security features. Also, are there any additional steps I could take to make it more secure.

If you dont already have a firewall, I would suggest installing one.
PC tools has a free firewall.
